Update as previously promised..
I am pleased to report that despite a bit of a bumpy ride at the start of trying to resolve the .net.au version of our domain name issue that I wrote to all of you earlier, the .net.au version of our computerhelpzone.com.au Domain Name has now been resolved.
After a recent friendly conversation with the other business owner in QLD, who I found to be very reasonable and co-operative, and who was apparently misinformed about the reasoning behind our objection and intentions, either by staff or third party contractors acting on their behalf, the issue has now been resolved in a friendly manner, to both our mutual satisfaction with a minimum of fuss.
The QLD company owner has now registered a unique domain name which has no resemblance to ours, therefore any Search Engine Link(s) directing you to computerhelpzone.net.au will now be valid and should direct you to the Andrews Computer Help Zone website.
As a result of the above, please disregard all cautions previously relayed to you about ignoring any search engine result links or communication from the computerhelpzone.NET.au domain – the domain “is” valid.
Finally, on the basis of my conversation with the QLD business owner, I think I can say with confidence that the registration of the .net.au version of our domain name was an honest mistake and that the registration was made with no malicious intent.
In conclusion, I wish the QLD business involved all the very best and hope that they prosper in all their business endeavours.
Should you have any queries or require clarification with regards to any of the above, please don’t hesitate contact us.
My thanks to all of you for your interest and previous feedback that some of you sent regarding this issue.
Till the next time…
